How do you change the lyrics of a song with AI?

Upload your song (MP3, WAV and other common formats up to 50MB) or pick one from your RaoMusic library. Paste the lyrics so each line can be matched to the vocals, drag over the section to change (10 to 60 seconds, up to half the song), and type the new words. AI re-sings that section in the same style and returns two versions in about a minute. It works on the free plan: one run on the default model costs 20 credits.

  • No subscription required

Works on the free plan, MP3 download included. 50 free credits every month.

How do you change the lyrics of a song with AI?

Fix one part without redoing the song

Upload a song or pick from your library

Drop in MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A, FLAC or AAC up to 50MB, or choose a song you made on RaoMusic. Paste the lyrics once and they're lined up with the vocals.

Select a section, type new words

Drag over 10 to 60 seconds on the waveform. The lyrics in that range appear in an editor; change only the lines you want.

Two blended versions

AI re-sings the section in the same style and stitches it into the song. Compare both versions and download the MP3.

Change lyrics with AI vs re-recording vs regenerating

Editing one section keeps the song you like. Re-recording takes a singer and a session. Regenerating gives you a different song.

When to change lyrics with AI

Use it when the song works and only some words don't. Skip it when you want a different song or an exact match of a real singer.

Best for

  • ✓Fixing a line or a verse after the song is done
  • ✓Swapping a name or detail to personalize a song
  • ✓Testing an alternative chorus or hook

Not for

  • !Rewriting most of the song (generate a new one instead)
  • !Matching a specific real singer's voice exactly
  • !Instrumentals with no vocals

How AI changes the lyrics in part of a song

People use it to fix a line that doesn't land, swap a name to personalize a song, clean up a lyric before release, or test an alternative hook without paying for a new session. Because you can upload your own file, the song does not have to come from RaoMusic.

The AI regenerates only the range you select, keeping the tempo, key and vocal style of the song, and blends the new section into what comes before and after. The output is a new render of the full track, so tiny differences outside the edited part are possible; most of the time the rest sounds the same.

For the best result, change lyrics with a similar number of syllables, start and end the range at natural line breaks, and keep the section under a minute. If a take misses, adjust the words or the range and generate again.
