I'll use the RaoMusic plugin. ACE-Step is a good fit for instrumental lo-fi and is priced by the second, so I'll get an exact quote before generating anything.
- estimate_credits: ACE-Step, 90 seconds, instrumental, 15 credits. You confirmed.
- generate_music: started the track with a stable idempotency key, so a retry can't charge twice.
- get_generation: done. Here's your track, ready to download.

I'll generate it with Rao/Suno in simple mode, which writes the lyrics for you. Each run gives you two versions to choose from, for 20 credits.
- generate_music: Rao v1.0, simple mode, 20 credits.
- get_generation: both versions are ready, with lyrics and cover art.

For a short instrumental jingle, ACE-Step with thinking turned off is the cheapest option: 10 credits for 30 seconds.
- estimate_credits: ACE-Step, 30 seconds, thinking off, 10 credits.
- generate_music → get_generation: your intro jingle is ready.

What people ask their agent
Copy a prompt and paste it into your agent once the server is connected.
Make a 30-second upbeat instrumental for this product video. Tell me the price first.
Write lyrics about late-night coding and turn them into a lo-fi song with female vocals.
Generate three different intro jingles for my podcast with ACE-Step and give me download links.
Score this game trailer: dark synthwave, 90 seconds, no vocals.
Built so an agent can't run up your bill
Price before spend
Agents get a free estimate tool and are instructed to confirm the cost with you before generating.
Optional daily cap
Give any key or connection a 24-hour credit limit, so even a leaked key can't drain your balance.
No double charges
Every generation carries an idempotency key, so retries after a timeout never charge twice.
Revoke anytime
Revoking a key stops it immediately. You can see when each key was last used.
FAQ
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI agents use to call outside tools. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf and others support it, so one RaoMusic server works in all of them.
No. Generations from an agent use your normal RaoMusic credits at the same prices as the website. There is no separate API plan.
The same engines as the website: Rao/Suno, Google Lyria, Mureka, MiniMax, ACE-Step, YuE and ElevenLabs. Your agent can list them with their current prices.
Yes. Songs generated through an agent follow the same commercial license as songs made on the website.
Songs stay in your library for your plan's storage period. Download anything you want to keep long-term.
Give your agent a soundtrack
Create a key, paste one command, and ask for a song.
